Wow, it's been almost two years since I posted last. I'll probably not be posting here too much in the future either.

Rock Radio has seen better days...
www.philly.com/mld/philly/129486
Yet another Philly rock radio station bites the dust. 94.1 was once upon a time the most popular rock radio station in the city but a bunch of bad hiring choices, most notably the hiring of the idiotic Kidd Chris (how many markets does this idiot have to be kicked out of before people realize he's not funny? Hell, he brags about it on the air.), coupled with the soon to be departure of the long since unfunny Howard Stern led it to be passed by WMMR in the most recent ratings. Thankfully it was the worst of the two remaining rock radio stations (I only listen to WYSP when MMR plays something bad and half the time they're playing something even stupider or the "talent" is doing something stupid). Most telling is the fact that I didn't hear about this on WYSP, I heard it on MMR. WYSP was going down the drain for a long time, it was nice of them to finish it off.
Damn Eagles, always playing with my heart...
The Eagles better start playing football or they're not getting anywhere near the Super Bowl. I'm not sure what they're playing but at this point I doubt they could beat the Bengals much less a real football team.
